
Rice water & Methi Dana Toner for Glowing Skin
A homemade rice face toner is an excellent way to naturally enhance the appearance of your skin. Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of rice
- 1 spoon of fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- 3 cups of water
- 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel
- 3 tbsp of rose water

Preparation:
- Start by washing 1/2 cup of rice 2-3 times with water to remove any dirt and impurities. This ensures that the rice is clean and free of any unwanted particles.
- Once the rice is clean, add 3 cups of water to the rice. Add methi dana in this.Allow it to soak overnight. This will help the rice and fenugreek to release its nutrients, including antioxidants and vitamins, into the water.
- The next morning, strain the water from the mixture. This is the water that has absorbed all the beneficial properties from the rice and fenugreek seeds, which will now be used as your toner.
- To this water, add 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Aloe vera is known for its soothing and hydrating properties, making it the perfect addition to this toner.
- Next, add 3 tablespoons of rose water. Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties and helps balance the skin’s natural oils, making it a great addition for all skin types.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure that all the ingredients are well combined and the toner is evenly mixed.
- Once the toner is ready, transfer it into a clean spray bottle. This makes it easy to apply and store.
How to Use:
- Cleanse your face thoroughly with your regular face wash.
- Spray the rice toner evenly onto your face or apply it with a cotton pad.
- Gently massage it into your skin, allowing the toner to be absorbed.
