Danone, the parent company of YoCrunch, has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of its popular yogurt products after reports of plastic contamination.

According to the company, several customers discovered plastic fragments ranging from 7 to 25 millimeters inside the dome toppers—the compartment that typically contains candy or crunchy toppings mixed with the yogurt. These plastic pieces pose a serious choking hazard, especially for children or individuals with swallowing difficulties.

The recall applies to all flavors and sizes of YoCrunch products with expiration dates between July 7, 2025, and September 4, 2025. These products were distributed across the United States. A complete list of the affected items and their corresponding UPC codes is available through Danone’s official press release.

“We are working swiftly with our retail partners to remove all affected products from store shelves and are taking steps to resolve the issue to bring YoCrunch® products back safely,” the company stated.

Consumers are strongly advised not to consume any of the affected products. If you have purchased one, you may request a refund or seek assistance by contacting the YoCrunch Consumer Care Line at 1-877-344-4886.
