While most of us see dogs as loyal companions and beloved family members, not everyone treats them with the kindness they deserve.

Thankfully, there are still compassionate individuals in this world—people who step in without hesitation to help animals in need. It’s because of heroes like these that a puppy named Pascal survived a truly horrifying ordeal.

Pascal's story is both tragic and inspiring. This young puppy was found after a group of deeply disturbed individuals had covered his tiny body in industrial-strength superglue. Yes—you read that right. They intentionally poured glue over him and then cruelly rolled him in mud and dirt, which adhered to the glue, trapping him in a hard, painful shell.

The glue dried quickly, restricting Pascal’s movement. Before long, he couldn’t move at all. Worse still, the hardened glue began cutting off circulation to parts of his body. His skin became inflamed, and the pain he endured is unimaginable.

But just when hope seemed lost, animal rescuers from He’Art of Rescue, a non-profit based in Turkey, discovered Pascal and rushed to help. They brought him to a veterinary clinic where the long, delicate process of removing the glue began.

It took hours of careful cleaning to peel away each layer—glue, dirt, and dried blood—without damaging his fragile skin further. Pascal was also terrified of human touch at first, likely due to the trauma he had just experienced. His rescuers had to be incredibly patient, not just physically but emotionally, as they worked to gain his trust.

With time, care, and love, Pascal slowly began to heal—both inside and out. The swelling reduced, his fur started to grow back, and most importantly, he began to trust humans again. Eventually, the once-abused puppy was not only able to walk again but also to play, wag his tail, and enjoy life like every dog should.

Pascal’s transformation is nothing short of miraculous, and it serves as a reminder of how powerful compassion can be. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of his rescuers, Pascal got a second chance at life.
