🧄🧀 Creamy Garlic Parmesan Meatballs

Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

  • 500g (1 lb) ground chicken or turkey (or pork/beef mix)

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Meatballs

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  2. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix).

  3. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a plate.

2️⃣ Cook the Meatballs

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Fry meatballs until golden brown on all sides (about 6–8 mins).

  3. Remove meatballs and set aside.

3️⃣ Prepare the Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

  2. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth, then bring to a gentle simmer.

  3. Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4️⃣ Combine & Serve

  1. Return meatballs to the skillet and coat with sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes until cooked through.

  2. Garnish with fresh parsley.


💡 Tips for Best Results:

  • For extra juicy meatballs, mix in 2 tbsp milk with the meat mixture.

  • You can bake the meatballs at 200°C (400°F) for 15–18 mins instead of frying.

  • Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
