Ingredients:

  1. 6 bay leaves (laurel leaves)

  2. A small handful of chamomile leaves or flowers

  3. 2 cinnamon sticks

  4. ½ liter (about 2 cups) of water

  5. (Optional) 1 tablespoon of raw honey for sweetness


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients:
    Gently rinse the bay leaves and chamomile to remove any dust or impurities. Break the cinnamon sticks in half if they’re too long to fit in the pot.

  2. Combine in a saucepan:
    Place all the ingredients — bay leaves, chamomile, and cinnamon — into a clean saucepan or small pot.

  3. Add water:
    Pour in ½ liter of water (about 2 standard cups).

  4. Bring to a boil:
    Set the pot on medium heat and let it come to a gentle boil.
