🥓 Bacon and Sausage Breakfast Plate

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of bacon

  • 4 pork sausages (or beef/turkey sausages, depending on preference)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan

    • Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

    • Add a small drizzle of olive oil (optional if your bacon is fatty enough).

  2. Cook the Bacon

    • Place the bacon strips in the skillet in a single layer.

    • Fry for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

    • Transfer the cooked bacon onto a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess grease.

  3. Cook the Sausages

    • In the same skillet (with some bacon fat for flavor), add the sausages.

    • Cook over medium-low heat for about 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned evenly and cooked through.

    • Check doneness: internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).

  4. Serve

    • Arrange the crispy bacon and sausages on a plate.

    • Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and chopped parsley if desired.

  • Serve with scrambled eggs, toast, or hash browns for a full breakfast.

  • Pair with maple syrup or honey for a sweet-and-savory twist.
