For the Crust:

For the Cheesecake Filling:

π₯ 1 cup sour cream

π Zest and juice of 2 oranges

For the Orange Glaze:

π ½ cup fresh orange juice

π₯ 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
π©π³ Instructions
1. Preheat & Prepare Crust:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.
2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in sour cream, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
3. Bake the Cheesecake:
Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
Turn off the oven, crack the door slightly, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
Then, remove and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
4. Prepare the Orange Glaze:
In a small saucepan, heat the orange juice and sugar over medium heat until warm.
Stir in the cornstarch-water mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until the glaze thickens (about 2–3 minutes).
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
5. Assemble & Serve:
Pour the cooled glaze over the chilled cheesecake and spread evenly.
Optional: Garnish with orange slices, zest curls, or whipped cream.
